About This Role
Forecast Labs is Climate Power’s R&D arm, where we test, incubate, and scale culture-forward approaches to climate communications. The team is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of Forecast Labs’ growing portfolio of initiatives, helping translate strategy, partnerships, and innovation into effective, real-world programs.
This position will serve as a central coordination hub across projects, partners, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, helping keep initiatives on track and ensuring leadership has the operational support necessary to execute effectively.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys creating structure and clarity across multiple workstreams, and is excited by the intersection of project management, communications, operations, and strategic coordination.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support project timelines, work plans, and deliverables across Forecast Labs initiatives, ensuring projects remain on schedule and stakeholders remain informed.
- Coordinate meetings, briefings, and project check-ins across internal teams, consultants, vendors, and external partners.
- Support leadership calendar management, scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting logistics.
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, notes, and follow-up actions for leadership meetings, partner engagements, and strategic planning sessions.
- Track budgets, invoices, contracts, and vendor deliverables in collaboration with Climate Power’s Finance and Operations teams.
- Maintain project management systems, documentation, and reporting tools to support organizational planning and accountability.
- Coordinate logistics for convenings, partner meetings, events, retreats, and other Forecast Labs activations.
- Manage internal workflows and help facilitate communication across Forecast Labs' Studio, Intelligence, and Network verticals.
- Develop and maintain systems for knowledge management, documentation, and information sharing across the team.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to Forecast Labs leadership and special projects as assigned.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as need and capacity dictates.
Essential Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant prior work experience in project management, operations, program management, administrative coordination, campaigns, communications, nonprofit organizations, consulting, or related fields.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders, teams, and workstreams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information, prepare briefing materials, and communicate clearly with internal and external audiences.
- Ability to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and operate independently with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, project management tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Asana, Airtable, Monday.com, Notion, or similar tools.

- Experience supporting senior leaders, executives, principals, or organizational leadership teams.
- Experience working in political, advocacy, communications, media, campaign, or nonprofit environments.

Location & Hours of Operations
Climate Power is a remote-first organization based in Washington, DC. This position can be located anywhere in the United States, but must be able to work Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm EST, plus weekends and evenings as the work dictates. Occasional travel is required as needed, typically 3-4 times per year.

Our interview process generally involves 3 rounds of interviews, ranging in length from 30-60 minutes. All interviews will be conducted via Google Meets or Zoom.
