Community Health Alliance is seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives across our behavioral health continuum. This executive leader will play a critical role in expanding access to mental health and substance use treatment services by developing strategic partnerships, strengthening referral networks, and identifying new opportunities that support our mission and long-term sustainability.

What You'll Do
As the Vice President of Business Development, you will:
- Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives that drive organizational growth and expand access to behavioral health services.
- Identify and cultivate new referral sources, payer partnerships, community collaborations, and service line expansion opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, health systems, physicians, community organizations, employers, schools, courts, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, referral patterns, reimbursement opportunities, and competitive intelligence to guide strategic decision-making.
- Partner with executive leadership to establish growth priorities, revenue goals, and key performance metrics.
- Lead initiatives that increase referrals, improve admissions conversion, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, marketing, finance, and compliance leaders to ensure growth strategies support quality care and organizational objectives.
- Represent Community Health Alliance throughout the community by promoting our mission, services, and positive outcomes.
- Lead and develop business development, outreach, admissions, and marketing staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Monitor business development performance through data, dashboards, and CRM reporting to evaluate outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Behavioral Health, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in business development, strategic planning, healthcare operations, marketing, or relationship management.
- Demonstrated success developing referral networks, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and data reporting tools.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the State of Ohio.
Preferred
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment services.
- Experience working with healthcare reimbursement, payer relationships, and healthcare market analysis.
- Professional certification in healthcare, business development, marketing, or project management.
