Behavioral Health Clinician (Colorado Medicaid)
Location: Westminster, Colorado
Job Type: Remote
Pay: $35 to $40 hr, based on experience
About Us
Community Impact LLC. Is a growing behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered mental health services throughout Colorado. We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Clinician with strong knowledge of Colorado Medicaid documentation, treatment planning, Medicaid Coding and compliance requirements.
Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Clinician provides behavioral health assessments, individual, family, and group therapy, treatment planning, crisis intervention, care coordination, and clinical documentation. The ideal candidate is experienced in serving Colorado Medicaid members and maintaining accurate, timely, and Medicaid-compliant records.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Related experience in the behavioral health field.
Active Colorado license or license candidate (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, MFTC, or equivalent).
Experience providing behavioral health services to Colorado Medicaid clients.
Knowledge of Colorado Medicaid documentation, medical necessity, treatment planning, and compliance requirements.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Responsibilities
Complete behavioral health assessments.
Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
Maintain accurate, timely, Medicaid-compliant documentation.
Coordinate care with community providers and multidisciplinary teams.
Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and Colorado Medicaid regulations.
Preferred
Experience with trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and co-occurring disorders and working with (QBHA'S) Qualified Behavioral Health Assistants and Peer Support.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
