Since 2014, Alpha Veterinary Services has proudly provided compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to pets and their families throughout the Uniontown community. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Client Service Representative to join our team on a part-time schedule.
As the first person our clients interact with, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while helping our hospital run smoothly.
What You'll Do
As a Client Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Greeting clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Managing a high volume of incoming phone calls while providing outstanding customer service
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating the daily appointment schedule
- Processing payments and accurately handling invoices and financial transactions
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records within our practice management software
- Communicating effectively with doctors and medical staff to relay messages and client updates
- Answering client questions and assisting with general inquiries
- Keeping the reception area organized, clean, and welcoming
- Multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced veterinary environment while maintaining attention to detail
What We're Looking For
- Previous customer service experience required
- Veterinary, medical, or animal care experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Professional phone etiquette and a positive, friendly attitude
- Ability to remain calm and organized during busy periods
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for helping people and caring for pets
