Position Title: Sourcing and Logistics Coordinator
Division: Finance and Administration
Reports to: Sourcing and Logistics Manager
Position based in: Concacaf Headquarters, Miami
COMPANY INFORMATION:
We are The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, one of six continental confederations of FIFA. Concacaf serves as the governing body of football in this part of the world. It is composed of 41 national associations united by the passion for football, from Canada in the north to Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana in the south.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, execution, and control of all logistics operations supporting football competitions and events in Concacaf, including the administration and flow of materials, shipping, inventory, and 3PL coordination, to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery and compliance with established procedures. The position also in charge of sourcing goods and vendor coordination to ensure material availability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as the primary logistics point of contact for all football events (Competitions, Development, and Commercial), participating in planning meetings, supporting operational needs, and ensuring the highest level of service.
- Coordinate with 3PL the material fulfillment for future events, shipments, and returns, optimize delivery schedules, and consolidate shipments in the most cost-effective manner.
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records, including material distribution and restocking.
- Oversee 3PL operations to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, proper inventory administration, including stock levels, rotation, and utilization of existing materials.
- Review and process 3PL reports, tracking inventory movements, adjustments, and returns.
- Track 3PL KPIs, process third-party invoices, and ensure accurate reporting of logistics activities.
- Responsible for sourcing and procurement of goods in orders below $20,000 in compliance with organizational policies.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased materials to 3PL and proper invoice processing.
- Provide on-site logistics support for Tier 1 competitions as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Associate degree in logistics and supply chain management, business management, or equivalent.
- + 3 years of relevant experience in related positions.
- Strong logistics and supply chain management knowledge, including shipping, inventory control, and 3PL coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
- Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills. Ideal candidate is bilingual (English/French or Spanish)
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., Magaya) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to monitor KPIs, control costs, and optimize processes.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory, documentation, and invoicing.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to respond effectively to operational challenges in fast-paced environments.
- High level of organization, accountability, and ability to work independently.
- Acute attention to detail and commitment to excellence and high standards of service.
- Candidate must have the flexibility to travel nationally and internationally for the performance of his/her duties. Approximate travel requirement: 15
