ConEquip Parts is growing—and we're looking for a people-focused, organized, and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting employees, partnering with leaders, and helping create a workplace where people can do their best work.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations of a growing organization. From recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement, you’ll help ensure our people processes run smoothly while supporting the culture and values that make ConEquip a great place to work!
This is not a behind-the-scenes administrative HR role. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven position where you’ll work directly with employees and leaders, help solve problems, improve processes, and contribute to an exceptional employee experience as we continue to grow.

You’re comfortable balancing multiple priorities and shifting between strategic initiatives and day-to-day employee needs. You’re a strong communicator who can listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help navigate workplace challenges with fairness and consistency.
You don’t just manage HR processes—you help create an environment where employees feel supported, informed, and connected.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Attendance and Absence Management:
· Manage attendance tracking processes, including the attendance line, time-off requests, and employee absences. Communicate updates and maintain accurate timekeeping records.
· Coordinate and administer employee leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
· Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, selection, and offer coordination.
· Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a positive and seamless employee experience.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
· Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
· Address employee concerns by gathering relevant information, facilitating communication, and supporting timely resolution of workplace matters.
· Support and enhance workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives, communication, and programs that align with company values.
Training and Development:
· Identify training needs and coordinate professional development initiatives.
· Facilitate training sessions and workshops that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and overall performance.
Performance Management:
· Support the implementation and ongoing administration of performance management processes.
· Partner with managers to support performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and employee development plans.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
· Support payroll preparation by reviewing timecards for accuracy and ensuring timely completion.
· Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
· Coordinate open enrollment activities and provide employees with information and guidance regarding available benefits.
Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
· Maintain and update HRIS records, employee files, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Maintain and update job descriptions, policies, and HR documentation as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
· Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
· Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
· High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
· Proficiency in HRIS and common office software applications.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration is preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably as a generalist.
· Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
· An equivalent combination of education, experience, or training may be considered.
