Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Responsibilities:
- Gives direct care as assigned, i.e., bath, shower, oral hygiene, giving and removing bedpans/urinals, personal grooming, and all other hygienic needs
- Cleans and cares for bedside equipment and the residents' environment, occupied and unoccupied beds, bedside tables, dressers, residents' clothing, and personal belongings
- Practices safety rules at all times to prevent accidents
- Assist the nurse in maintaining continuous observation of and assisting residents
- Conduct resident care rounds, visiting each resident for at least one to two hours
- Prepare residents for meals, and help or feed residents as needed
- Completes all documentation before the end of the shift
- Establishes and maintains a rapport with residents, families, visitors, and all levels of staff
CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Qualifications:
- Must have a valid and clear Florida CNA certification number
- Skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience for senior care is preferred but not required
- Well versed with documentation writing on Point Click Care (PCC) system; training provided
- Document patient’s progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion
- Collaborates with all disciplines to provide the best patient-centered treatment and care
- Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
- Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism
- Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA, and Federal Residents' Rights
Shift: All Shifts
Salary: $16.50 per hour
