What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years automotive experience (required)
- Special finance experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of subprime lending and deal structure
- Proven ability to analyze credit and get deals approved
- High urgency and attention to detail (funding accuracy matters)
- Excellent communication and closing skills
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Work Schedule:
- Flexible schedule between 8 AM – 8 PM
- Rotating Saturdays
Primary duties will consist of but not limited to:
- Structure and desk special finance deals within lender guidelines
- Work leads and customers with challenged credit
- Submit, negotiate, and finalize approvals with lenders
- Ensure fast, clean funding (CIT management)
- Verify stipulations and maintain deal compliance
- Conduct credit interviews and accurately submit applications
- Present and sell F&I products (GAP, service contracts, credit insurance)
- Build and maintain strong lender relationships
- Track contracts in transit and funding progress
- Partner with sales and management on deal structure
- Deliver exceptional customer experience from approval through delivery
