Location: Northern Virginia (Regional Position)
Fairbrook Hotels is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Regional Social Sales Manager to generate and grow social group business across a portfolio of Hilton and Marriott hotels throughout Northern Virginia.
This regional role is responsible for developing business within the SMERF market (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal organizations) while also pursuing wedding room blocks, sports teams, reunions, family gatherings, and other leisure group opportunities. The successful candidate will build strong community partnerships, conduct outside sales calls, attend networking events, and work closely with hotel leadership and revenue management to maximize occupancy and revenue across multiple properties.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new SMERF and social group business through networking, outside sales, and community involvement.
- Generate room blocks for weddings, reunions, sports teams, military travel, religious groups, schools, and other social events.
- Conduct hotel tours, prepare proposals, negotiate room block agreements, and manage client relationships from inquiry through departure.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and room night goals.
- Collaborate with General Managers, Revenue Management, and Operations to strategically place business across the hotel portfolio.
- Represent Fairbrook Hotels at trade shows, bridal expos, Chamber of Commerce events, and community organizations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide weekly sales activity reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience (regional or multi-property experience preferred).
- Marriott and/or Hilton brand experience preferred.
- Proven success in proactive sales and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to travel throughout Northern Virginia.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Experience with Delphi, CI/TY, Marriott CI, Hilton sales systems, or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
