CPI Card Group is a light manufacturing company producing contact and contactless payment cards for our customers. CPI offers a full suite of solutions and the expertise in plastics manufacturing, personalization and fulfillment to provide a completely customized card package.
We are currently looking for hard working production employees on all shifts to join our Littleton, CO facility. We offer an extensive benefits package for our employees including health insurance, time off, 401(k) matching, and more!
Shift: Monday - Friday 4:00pm-2:30am
Starting Pay: $25.40
This position is responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment within the production department to maximize production uptime.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality preventative and emergency maintenance services on all manufacturing and supportive equipment within the production department to maximize production uptime.
- Troubleshoot issues and make repairs relating to production and facility equipment as necessary.
- Able to troubleshoot, train and repair mechanical and electrical components, including but not limited to motors, drives, pumps, and control devices.
- Participate in new equipment installation and existing equipment moves.
- Utilize and Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Work effectively with other departments to improve quality, performance, and productivity.
- Demonstrate willingness to accept direction from management and direct team to improve quality, performance and productivity.
- Observe and comply with safety regulations in accordance with OSHA and equipment manufacturer guidelines when installing, maintaining or repairing electrically energized and/or mechanically moving equipment.
- Maintain the plant and office area to assure a safe and clean working environment.
- Participate in special project work as requested.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
- Complies with ISO certification for all areas of responsibility
- Follows all company procedures and rules
- Follows all mandated security procedures and processes required by industry certifications
- Conducts self in a respectful and professional manner with a focus on teamwork, quality and timeliness at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Related Post Technical education desired.
- At least five years work experience in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and basic electrical repair. Manufacturing experience desired.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
- Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts.
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a Fast Paced Environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid drivers license
- Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
Physical Requirements:
- Work is conducted in a variety of positions, some awkward and close in nature, and requires standing, walking, climbing, crawling, bending, stooping and lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Environment is noisy and may require ear protection
- Work involves good eyesight, good hearing, hand/eye coordination and normal color vision to be able to detect problems, to ensure quality product and to maintain safety
- Work involves full use of hands/fingers in order to use precision or semi-precision equipment, tools or instruments requiring deft hand movements
- Work involves dealing with fine detail, which can be tiring both mentally and physically
- Works with rapidly moving machinery that may require quick adjustments to minimize waste and time
- Work is conducted on all shifts and requires incumbent to be on call and available for overtime, including nights and weekends, to meet deadlines
