In this role, you will be responsible for building a go-to-market strategy for Higher Education, SLED, and Consultant customers. This role requires cross-functional engagement with various departments at Crestron including Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and other Sales Support organizations. You will be tasked with creating effective communication, data collection and project prioritization based on the feedback of customers, sales team members and industry influencers.

You will serve as the main point of contact and will be a key resource for all Crestron related matters for in-region RSM’s, RD’s and Vertical Market Managers. Internally, you will also be expected to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively to ensure all Crestron departments are supported to enable maximization of new opportunities. As part of your core goals, your job will also require you to engage with executive level decision makers at end users, industry press/media contacts and key Consultants. A high level of technical understanding of both our products and our competitors’ offerings will ensure your communication with Product Managers is clear and effective. The ultimate objective is to create and execute strategies to grow revenue for the following class of customers – Higher Education, State and Local government organizations, and our consultant partners.

Work with the regional VMM’s to grow existing business and identify new customers to increase our revenue within each vertical. Identify customers who do not use Crestron and build strategies to acquire these potential customers.
Establish regional and national roundtables, councils, forums, and other means to drive awareness, interest, and communication between the entities in the vertical markets and Crestron.
Create standard operating procedures, design standards, and go-to-business strategies within the Vertical Market Management (VMM) teams. Ensure there is alignment through all support organizations within Crestron (Marketing, Training, Product Management, Engineering, etc).
Build communication infrastructure to ensure there is a cycle of quality information flowing between Crestron and our customer base.
Represent Crestron as the subject matter expert at industry and market events, trade shows, and high-level meetings.
Work within the Executive Sales Team to ensure alignment and coordination is accomplished at all levels of the sales organization. This includes attending virtual and in-person meetings with the sales leadership.
Work with Sales Leadership and other stakeholders within Crestron to help standardize end user programs and ensure these programs are designed to help our sellers generate more revenue.

Bachelor’s Degree
5-7 years Selling Audiovisual or Unified Communications solutions in the Higher Education, SLED, and/or Enterprise markets
