About You
You are a servant-hearted leader who is passionate about providing overall leadership for exceptional events while developing and encouraging those around you. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic direction, organization, and operational excellence with ease. Whether you are overseeing the end-to-end planning and execution of events, building a centralized support structure for logistics and volunteers, partnering with finance to manage budgets, or stepping in to serve as the Event Director, you take ownership and lead by example.
You enjoy fostering collaboration across executive and ministry leadership, providing accountability to Event Leads to guide them toward success, and maintaining high standards for event quality, programming, and attendee engagement. You also excel at cultivating partnerships and stewarding high-profile relationships with athletes, speakers, and sponsors. Most importantly, your Christian faith is central to who you are, and you desire to use your gifts and leadership to drive ministry impact by ensuring intentional pathways for discipleship, supporting a mission that impacts lives for Christ through the platform of sports.
About Us
Athletes in Action is a ministry of Cru that uses the platform of sport to help people know and follow Jesus. Through camps, retreats, conferences, competitions, and events, we create environments where athletes, coaches, and guests can grow both personally and spiritually.
At our Sports Complex and Retreat Center, hospitality plays a vital role in that mission. Every meal served, every event supported, and every guest welcomed contributes to creating meaningful experiences that help people feel valued and cared for. When you join our team, you'll have the opportunity to combine your culinary leadership with purposeful work that advances a mission far greater than food service alone.
You'll work alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence, hospitality, and Christ-centered service while helping create memorable experiences for guests from across the country and around the world.
