Dallas Nephrology Associates (DNA) is a large independent single specialty practice with numerous offices located throughout the Dallas-Fort worth Metroplex. Dallas Nephrology Associates has an immediate opening for a compassionate, service-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical back-office support in our Dallas Transplant Institute practice. This position supports providers and patients by performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical back-office support, including obtaining and documenting vital signs, blood pressures, EKGs, and other patient care duties, as well as FO support if needed.
- Assist providers with patient care, examinations, and clinical procedures.
- Perform venipuncture and administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, as appropriate.
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
- Coordinate patient intake and assist with scheduling and care coordination for post-transplant patients.
- Maintain an organized workflow while managing multiple priorities in a high-volume clinical setting.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification REQUIRED.
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in a physician office or hospital setting.
- Strong venipuncture and injection experience (subcutaneous and intramuscular) preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
