DCCA is the prime contractor for this Government program that delivers important technical solutions and products using emerging technologies for processing significantly large amounts of data. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the National Security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results. Job Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents
Manages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture.
Assists with the allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Coordinates the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
Requirements:
- Will correlate events/telemetry visible in dashboards to system issues
- Rationalize and document system behavior in the presence of system issues; derive insights from the data
- Design experiments to isolate and characterize specific types of behavior
- Collaborate with analytic developers to capture needs for analytics
- Monitor dashboards for abnormal behavior
- Must have Linux, experience designing technical experiments, an analytic mindset, understand system telemetry and it’s correlation on system operation, failure rate and reliability analysis of components, and clearly must have experience with complex HPC systems
A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience.

A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience
OR
A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience
OR
A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.

Competitive Compensation: While salary at DCCA is determined by various factors, we are committed to making sure our salaries reflect the skill and expertise of our employees. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 180,000 to 240,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
