This position will help the IT department to improve their ticket response times, facilitate ticket escalation, and reduce the service demands on the IS Manager and Network Admin by performing tier 1 troubleshooting of end user application, computer, and network issues.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (include, but not limited to):
- Setup or move user computers, phones, printers, and accessories
- Perform repairs and upgrades to computer systems as needed.
- Install and provide basic troubleshooting for office 365, Solidworks, Adobe Creative Cloud, ERP System, windows 10/11, and MDM
- Printer installation, use, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Network setup and configuration for end users, printers, access points, and switches
- Help Desk: Field incoming service requests, escalate to Network Admin and IS Manager as needed.
- Help with network backup system.
- Security protection at all levels such as firewall, anti-virus, and anti-spam.
- Help maintain Cell Phone Equipment and its services
Educational and Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Technical knowledge of PC systems, software applications, phone systems, and network printing.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Work efficiently with limited supervision or within a team.
- Have a passion for all things IT.
- Provide excellent customer service whether email, IM, or Phone communication.
- Be teachable and a self-learner.
- A+ certificate.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able for sit for long periods of time at a computer workstation
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components
- Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals

- Ability to work flexible hours, with additional time as needed.
- Less than 1% unplanned absenteeism is expected.
- No more than 40 unexcused hours per calendar year
Pay: $49,920.00 - $83,000.00 per year
