Position Summary
Delta Mold, LLC is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our first shift team. The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring production machines remain supplied with raw materials, transporting finished goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the production floor organized. This position is critical to maintaining efficient manufacturing operations in our injection molding facility.
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver raw materials, colorants, and packaging supplies to production machines.
- Remove finished products and transport them to designated staging or warehouse areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Accurately identify, label, and store materials and finished goods.
- Monitor material levels and replenish production lines to minimize downtime.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep warehouse and production areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse or production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Injection molding experience is a plus but not required.
- Forklift experience preferred (certification is a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
