POSITION SUMMARY

DEMA Services is seeking motivated and experienced HVAC professionals to join our growing Single-Family Residential HVAC team. We are hiring at all experience levels, from Apprentices entering the trade to Experienced Installers, Lead Installers, and Foremen with residential new construction experience.

This position supports a variety of single-family residential construction projects including production home builders, custom homes, tract housing developments, and residential communities throughout Colorado. Team members will install, maintain, and oversee HVAC systems while ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, project schedules, and builder expectations are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Apprentice & HVAC Installers

• Assist with installation of HVAC systems on single-family residential new construction projects.
• Learn and perform rough-in, trim, startup, and final installation phases.
• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, ventilation systems, and related HVAC equipment.
• Assist with installation of ductwork, refrigerant piping, condensate systems, gas piping, and controls components.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work alongside experienced HVAC professionals and foremen to develop trade skills.
• Assist with material handling, equipment setup, and project support activities.

Lead Installers & Foremen

• Lead and supervise HVAC crews on single-family residential construction projects.
• Coordinate daily operations with Area Managers, Builders, Superintendents, and construction personnel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, mechanical plans, and construction documents.
• Oversee installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, ventilation systems, and related HVAC equipment.
• Manage manpower, production schedules, and builder deadlines.
• Train and mentor apprentices and field personnel.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and national mechanical codes.
• Order and track materials, tools, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot field issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
• Enforce all company safety standards and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in single-family residential HVAC construction preferred.
• Experience with residential new construction HVAC installations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.
• Experience installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, duct systems, ventilation systems, and related HVAC equipment preferred.
• Experience working for a residential HVAC contractor preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred for Lead Installer and Foreman-level positions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

EDUCATION & LICENSING

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade School or HVAC Certification preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Mechanical trade certifications are a plus.

COMPUTER & TECHNOLOGY SKILLS

• Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and digital applications.
• Microsoft Outlook and email communication experience preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is a plus for leadership roles.
• Ability to utilize electronic devices for project documentation, timekeeping, and communication.
