DG Therapy Group is hiring for a Full-Time Receptionist/Scheduler to work Monday- Friday and some Saturdays.
The Receptionist/Scheduler will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks including but not limited to answering incoming calls on a multi-line telephone switchboard, directing calls to appropriate associates, scheduling appointments, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, filing, taking co-payments/deductibles, etc. They are also a liaison between the parents, therapists and funding source (regional centers). They coordinate therapy schedules for each therapist within a specific territory along with sending and tracking patient related correspondence.
Job Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to coordinate high volume of patient and therapist appointment schedules
- Request authorizations for new cases
- Review, track and submit reports to regional centers
- Utilizing e-billing monthly to ensure rendered services are corresponding with billing totals
- Ensure patients are maximizing their monthly therapy sessions
- Accurately project travel time utilizing internet for therapist seeing in-home patients
- Provide occasional translation to care givers and staff
- Excellent customer services skills
- Must possess personal aptitude in solving problems, orderliness, responsibility, calmness under tight deadlines
- Must be detail-orientated and thorough follow-up skills
- Knowledgeable with all Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and ability to learn other software programs
- Ability to pass (clean) fingerprinting background check and reference
- 1-2 years of (related) experience: scheduling, customer service, etc.
- Bilingual – Spanish is required
