Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Miami, FL location who will support multiple attorneys with complex commercial litigation, commercial transactions, torts, and product liability matters.
Responsibilities
- Filings, client management, billing, time entry, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, travel arrangements, and other legal assistant functions. We seek candidates who are self-directed, high energy, and have advanced computer skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with litigation support
- Ability to manage billing for assigned attorneys (time entry, pre-bills, invoicing)
- Strong experience calendaring litigation deadlines
- Working knowledge and understanding of state and federal court rules and procedures
- Filing/e-filing experience in state and federal courts, ECF, and Pacer
- Experience using attorney timekeeping software and document management systems
- Experience and proficiency using MS Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven success as a positive team player, as well as a proactive, independent worker
- Ability to excel in a fast paced environment
