As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day.
Your Role:
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for completing laundry services for residents and community operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry environment. This role plays an important part in supporting resident comfort, cleanliness, and overall satisfaction.
Position Highlights:
- Status: Full Time
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm to 10pm
- Location: 101 Watermere Dr., Southlake TX 76092
- Rate of Pay: $16.00
What You’ll Do:
- Complete resident laundry according to the daily cleaning schedule
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute bed linens, towels, and resident personal clothing based on resident requests
- Complete laundry more frequently for Assisted Living apartments as needed
- Launder cleaning rags and mops daily
- Perform laundry duties for dining room linens upon request
- Package, tag, and deliver clean linens to resident apartments
- Maintain laundry equipment and ensure adequate supplies are available
- Keep the laundry area clean, orderly, and sanitary at all times
- Ensure laundry chemicals are secured when not in use
- Report equipment issues or repair needs to the Director of Housekeeping
- Inventory laundry supplies monthly and communicate needs to leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and resident-specific requests
- Ability to maintain organization and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
