Communications Coordinator
The Communications Coordinator (CC) supports the development and execution of communications strategy and marketing plans to achieve organizational objectives. The CC works to create programs that promote the organization's image and educate and inspire support of organ and tissue donation, including the development of content and maintenance of digital properties. Further responsibilities include media relations, community outreach, and contributing to corporate and internal communication.
- Collaborate with PR/Communications team on creating an integrated and targeted marketing/communications strategy including research, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Manages and maintains social media marketing efforts for the organization, including strategy, content development, audience engagement and growth.
- Maintains and manages digital properties including updating content on the website and monitoring analytics.
- Serves as a resource for inquiries from the public about organ and tissue donation.
- Serves as back-up to Community Relations Coordinator-Wyoming, fulfilling all related duties as necessary.
- Responsible for content creation for external communication, including writing, editing newsletters, updating intranet and other internal communication mechanisms as well as communication materials regarding organ and tissue donation as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
- Strong writing and content creation skills required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to shoot, edit and produce video content is required.
