This position would support our Public Works division, with projects in water resources, water- and storm-water engineer, civil engineering, public infrastructure, and more.
Responsibilities
- Learning key engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS programs/conventions.
- Assist in the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies, planning, and design projects.
- Provide conceptual, preliminary, and final design civil engineering support for all divisions. These tasks are likely to include: investigation, research, calculations, evaluation of alternatives, and design development on a variety of projects.
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT or ability to obtain one within 6 months is preferred
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- Experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred
