Job Overview
Dynamis is a Commercial Electrical Contractor (CE) seeking Commercial Electrician. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on commercial construction sites and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local codes, supporting the successful completion of our clients’ projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems in new construction and renovation environments
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise wiring layouts
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues quickly and accurately
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial and commercial sites
- Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently for various electrical installations
- Client base requires out of town travel (M-F) with overtime opporutnities.
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
- Expertise in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical circuits
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics confidently
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC regulations for safe electrical work practices
- Skilled in high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems for commercial applications
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation systems
- Construction site experience with a focus on renovation projects and new installations
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail
