Potential Exposure To Multiple Client Segments: Commercial and Industrial/Leverage Finance (Chicago and Dallas), Commercial Real Estate (Dallas), Energy - Oil & Gas (Dallas), Healthcare (Dallas), and Fund Finance (New York City and Pasadena).
- Assisting with all stages of commercial lending transactions from screening and structuring to underwriting and closing
- Analyzing and spreading financial statements
- Conducting industry analysis
- Supporting Relationship Managers / Portfolio Managers in evaluation of financial projection models
- Learning fundamentals of credit analysis and underwriting
- Assisting with portfolio management and loan monitoring
- Participate in a comprehensive skill set evaluation at the end of the program, including the preparation and delivery of final presentation demonstrating knowledge and applied competencies
- Completing other projects as assigned
- Enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program majoring in finance, economics, accounting, business management or other related fields
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Detail oriented, intellectually curious, highly motivated and strong work ethic
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting & finance principles
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work in a collaborative team environment
- Junior in college with expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
- In office position 5 days a week. This is not a remote position.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office.
- Housing within 1-hour from the respective office: see location above.
- Due to specific requirements applicable to this program, candidates must be U.S. citizens to be eligible for consideration. All qualified students who meet this eligibility requirement are encouraged to apply.
- Start date: May 31st, 2027
- 10 weeks through August 6th, 2027
- 9am – 5pm in office each day with the potential of working longer hours if needed. This is not a remote position.
- No relocation stipend for these positions.
