Responsibilities
Eastman is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide analytical and administrative support to the Global Engineering Design & Process Engineering organization as well as other departments within the Worldwide Engineering & Construction (WWE&C) division.
- Provide administrative support for department personnel
- Create and edit documents, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.
- Serve as timekeeper and enter time exceptions into SAP
- Arrange business travel and submit expense reports
- Plan and schedule meetings and special events
- Maintain department SharePoint and/or Teams sites
- Provide support for employee moves into and out of department
- Make purchases using company credit card and file expense reports
- Assist department personnel with software applications
- Serve as a contact for maintenance needs on the floor
- Coordinate maintenance for company vehicles
- Order and maintain office/kitchen supplies
- Complete purchase requisitions
- Obtain visitor passes
- Maintain confidentiality of company and personnel information
- Provide backup administrative support for other areas in the division
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Accounting or other relevant field preferred
- 3+ years of administrative support experience preferred
- Ability to synthesize data and generate presentation quality outputs required
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, required
- SAP & Power BI experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service mindset, be a self-starter, and ability to manage multiple priorities in support of meeting critical deadlines
- Must maintain confidentiality
