Inspire Teachers. Support Children. Shape the Future.
At Ebenezer Child Care Centers, we know that great teachers change lives—and great leaders help teachers thrive. We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and relationship-focused Curriculum Specialist to support our educators, strengthen classroom quality, and help bring joyful learning to life every day.
If you love early childhood education, enjoy mentoring others, and believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships, this may be the perfect role for you!
What Makes This Role Special?
As a Curriculum Specialist, you'll be a coach, cheerleader, trainer, problem-solver, and partner to our teaching teams. You'll support our Bay View, Brookfield, South Milwaukee, and Waukesha centers, spending your days where the action is—in classrooms, alongside teachers, helping children and educators succeed. You'll also spend one day each week at our Administrative Office collaborating with the leadership team and helping drive agency-wide initiatives.
No two days are exactly the same—and that's part of the fun!
What You'll Be Doing
- Visiting classrooms and helping teachers create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Coaching and mentoring educators through observations, feedback, and goal-setting
- Bringing curriculum to life through hands-on support and modeling best practices
- Helping teachers build inviting learning environments that spark curiosity and creativity
- Supporting child assessments, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies
- Leading trainings and professional development opportunities
- Collaborating with Center Coordinators and leadership teams to strengthen program quality
- Championing inclusive, culturally responsive, and anti-bias teaching practices
- Supporting NAC Accreditation, YoungStar standards, and continuous quality improvement efforts
- Celebrating successes, solving challenges, and helping our teams grow
We're Looking for Someone Who
- Loves children and enjoys helping adults grow professionally
- Builds positive relationships and communicates with kindness and confidence
- Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Can balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail
- Brings positive energy, flexibility, and a sense of humor to their work
- Is passionate about play-based learning and child development
- Enjoys being out in the field supporting teams rather than sitting behind a desk all day
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (Curriculum/Program Credential preferred)
- Registry Level 12 or higher
- Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership, coaching, supervisory, or mentoring experience
- Knowledge of Wisconsin DCF Licensing, NAC Accreditation standards, and best practices in early childhood education
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification within three months
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regularly between assigned centers
Why You'll Love Working Here
- A mission-driven organization serving children and families for more than 50 years
- A supportive leadership team that values your ideas and expertise
- Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
- Meaningful work that makes a lasting impact
- A collaborative culture where relationships matter
- Competitive pay and benefits
- The chance to help shape the future of early childhood education across multiple communities
