About eGain
eGain (NASDAQ: EGAN) is the leading AI knowledge management platform for customer experience. We help the world’s largest enterprises modernize how they capture, govern, and deliver knowledge so that customers, frontline teams, and AI workflows get trusted answers, faster. Our marketing team builds the category and the pipeline behind that mission, and this role keeps the operational machinery running day to day.
The Role
This is an operations role first. We are hiring a Senior Marketing Operations Specialist to build and run the systems and campaigns behind eGain’s go-to-market, not only to report on them. Day to day you will build automated workflows in HubSpot, set up and launch campaigns end to end across our paid and organic channels, keep data flowing cleanly across our marketing and sales stack, and then measure what you shipped.
Strong analytical skills are essential, but here they are the foundation for the job rather than the job itself. The people who do well in this seat are hands-on operators who have personally built the machinery, the workflows, campaign builds, integrations, and lead flows, and who can also analyze the results. You will report to our Senior Marketing Operations Manager and partner daily with demand generation and sales.
Who This Role is For
This is the right role for you if you have personally built marketing automation, stood up campaigns from scratch, and owned the technical execution, and you want analytics to be one part of a broader operations remit. It is likely not the right fit if your background is mainly analyzing and reporting on campaigns that other people built and ran. We are looking for a builder who measures, not an analyst who observes.
What You Will Do
Campaign Setup and Execution
- Build and launch campaigns end to end in HubSpot: segmentation, workflows, forms, landing pages, lists, and tracking, then push them live across paid and organic media channels.
- Own the technical execution from brief to launch, including QA of every build before it goes live and fast resolution of issues after.
- Apply correct UTM, attribution, and conversion tracking so every campaign is measurable from click to pipeline.
Marketing Automation and Operations
- Design, build, and maintain automated workflows: lead lifecycle, routing, scoring, nurture programs, and the handoff between marketing and sales.
- Turn marketing and sales requirements into reliable, repeatable, automated processes rather than manual one-offs.
- Continuously improve the plumbing: find the manual steps, broken handoffs, and data-quality gaps, and automate or fix them.
- Document processes and maintain playbooks so the team can scale.
Marketing and Sales Technology
- Operate and optimize the GTM stack, including HubSpot (marketing automation), Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), and supporting tools.
- Operate and maintain email delivery through Amazon SES (AWS), including sending infrastructure, deliverability, and suppression list management.
- Keep data flowing cleanly across systems so campaign, lead, and account data stay consistent.
- Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, and similar prospecting and enrichment platforms.
Measurement and Analytics
- Measure what you build: assemble data from source systems, QA it for accuracy, and build clear reporting in Power BI and Looker Studio.
- Analyze results and present findings and recommendations to the marketing operations lead and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design of the measurement approach over time.
What You Bring
Required
- 2 to 4 years in marketing operations or revenue operations in a B2B environment, in a role where you built and ran campaigns and workflows, not only analyzed them.
- Hands-on experience building marketing automation workflows in HubSpot (or a comparable platform such as Marketo), including nurture flows, lead routing, and scoring. You have built this machinery yourself, not just reported on it.
- Demonstrated experience setting up and launching campaigns end to end and owning their technical execution across paid and organic channels.
- Hands-on experience with a CRM, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.
- Hands-on experience operating email sending infrastructure in Amazon SES (AWS), including deliverability and suppression list management.
- Proficient at leveraging ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI tools for marketing operations use cases.
- Ability to build and maintain reporting in Power BI and/or Looker Studio, with strong data hygiene, QA discipline, and attention to detail across systems and data sets.
Preferred
- Experience integrating and optimizing marketing and sales tools to reduce manual work and lift GTM performance.
- Python scripting to execute and automate email campaigns through AWS SES.
- SQL to segment and pull data from the lead database.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, and similar prospecting or enrichment platforms.
- Awareness of ABM programs, lead scoring, and attribution.
- B2B SaaS or enterprise software background.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Why This Role
You will be the hands-on operator behind eGain’s go-to-market programs. You will build and run the systems that marketing and sales depend on, see your work go live, and grow your scope into broader process and strategy ownership, working alongside an experienced Marketing Operations lead.
