Job Summary

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to our residents and patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during nighttime hours. Your expertise will support a variety of clinical needs, from medication administration to patient assessments, all while maintaining strict adherence to healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents and patients during overnight hours, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
• Manage IV infusions and perform catheter care with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including tube feeding, mobility support, and personal hygiene.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations such as acute pain episodes or respiratory distress, utilizing airway management and basic life support skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain clinical confidentiality policies at all times.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Proven experience in long-term care settings or skilled nursing facilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR documentation
• Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer's or memory care needs.
• Excellent assessment skills combined with the ability to respond swiftly in urgent situations.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and long-term care regulations to ensure safe patient environments.
• Flexibility to work overnight hours consistently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
