- Coordinate plans and specifications with owners, engineers, and design professionals to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage quality control efforts and ensure timely completion of all required inspections.
- Ensure compliance with ESCO standards, customer requirements, and project specifications.
- Identify and resolve constructability challenges before they impact project performance.
- Lead, mentor, train, and develop field personnel, foremen, and emerging leaders.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, attendance, performance, and workforce development for project teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Address performance concerns and resolve personnel issues professionally and effectively.
- Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Attend owner meetings and represent ESCO professionally with clients and project stakeholders.
- Conduct daily coordination meetings to align crews, subcontractors, and project partners.
- Maintain positive relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Effectively investigate and resolve project disputes and field challenges.
- Accurately track labor, equipment, production, and quantities completed.
- Support change order identification, documentation, and management.
- Monitor productivity and crew performance to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on heavy civil construction projects.
- Experience managing complex operations involving earthwork, underground utilities, concrete flatwork, and structural concrete.
- Demonstrated success managing projects with 20+ field personnel, multiple foremen, and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven organizational and planning capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ability to access all areas of active construction sites in varying climates and environments.
- Experience with HeavyJob, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other construction management software.
- Experience supporting project schedules, production forecasting, and change order management.
- Strong understanding of project controls and field cost management.
- Experience mentoring and developing field leaders and construction professionals.
- $110,000 – $135,000 annual salary, based on experience
