ETC is seeking an experienced and people-focused Production & Inventory Control Manager to lead our planning and inventory functions while developing a high-performing team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
This leader will oversee Production & Inventory Control Managers, Master Scheduling, and New Product Introduction (NPI) Planning, while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional results for our customers.

- Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for production planning, inventory control, master scheduling, and NPI planning.
- Foster a positive, customer-focused culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive inventory reduction, planning optimization, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
- Manage the master production schedule to support customer demand and operational goals.
- Coordinate production planning processes including MPS, MRP, and capacity planning.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, data integrity, and effective ERP system utilization.
- Support successful new product introductions through effective planning and cross-functional collaboration.
- Analyze planning and production variances and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with manufacturing leaders to improve labor utilization, efficiency, and throughput.
- Develop team capabilities through training, mentoring, and employee development.
- Lead departmental initiatives that improve operational performance, customer responsiveness, and business results.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of leadership experience within Production Planning, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, scheduling, and manufacturing operations.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP systems.
- Experience with MRP, MPS, capacity planning, and inventory management processes.
- NAPM / ASCM certification (or working towards it).
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Experience leading inventory reduction and operational excellence initiatives.
- Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, purchasing, and shop floor control processes.
- Exceptional people leadership skills.
- Ability to build relationships and connect with employees at all levels.

- Strong training, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
