GenAI Enterprise Architect - VP Level
Profile Focus: Elite Enterprise AI Authority, Global IP Creator, & Strategic Tech Decision-Maker
Role Overview: Shape the GenAI vision, capability building, and global go-to-market strategy for the enterprise practice. Serve as the preeminent onshore technical authority and executive sponsor for marquee clients. Advise board-level stakeholders on AI-driven business disruption, backed by deep technical knowledge of complex architecture and modern technology choices to ensure the right solutions are deployed safely and at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Board-Level Technical Advisory: Serve as the final technical authority for client organizations, advising C-suites on AI disruption, systemic risk mitigation, and the establishment of a robust 7-layer "AI Control Plane" to govern enterprise-wide AI outcomes.
- Strategic Technology Selection & Rationalization: Champion the selection of the right architectural paradigms for the enterprise. Guide organizations away from "hype-driven" tech choices toward sustainable solutions (e.g., identifying when a lightweight fine-tuned Small Language Model or deterministic rules-based engine outperforms an expensive, generic frontier LLM).
- Enterprise Observability Ecosystems: Define the overarching corporate strategy for systemic observability. Establish unified telemetry frameworks that combine infrastructure health, application performance, and cognitive LLM metrics, ensuring comprehensive visibility into the AI lifecycle for global deployments.
- Zero-Trust Data Protection & Governance: Architect zero-trust security models for Generative AI. Dictate strategies for sovereign, air-gapped LLM deployments for highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, defense), ensuring absolute compliance with global frameworks like the EU AI Act and GDPR.
- Go-To-Market & Global Capability: Partner with business development to shape GenAI offerings, structure massive digital transformation deals, and direct the development of proprietary AI accelerators, repeatable frameworks, and enterprise guardrails.
Qualifications:
- Elite Consulting Skills: Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; proven track record of closing and steering multi-million-dollar, global technology consulting transformations.
- Deep Architectural & Modern Tech Knowledge: Master-level understanding of cutting-edge architectural trends. Expert ability to evaluate and select hardware/hosting strategies (On-Premises private clouds vs. Hybrid Cloud vs. Cloud Native via AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI).
- Systemic Evaluation Expertise: Authoritative knowledge of modern AI frameworks, agentic orchestration paradigms (Crew AI, AutoGen, Lang Graph), evaluation loops, and fine-tuning techniques applied to secure enterprise domains.
- Advanced degree (master’s or Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, AI, or Business Administration; 16–25 years of technology experience heavily indexed in executive consulting, technical practice leadership, and large-scale architectural governance.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $200,000 - $275,000 per year.
