About us
- Fairview Millwork and Kitchens is a 73-year young family owned and operated Building Materials, Windows, Millwork and Kitchen provider to Builders, Contractors, Remodelers and home owners in Southern New Hampshire, Eastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod. We have longtime dedicated and loyal customers and employees. We are constantly looking to grow our business and we are desirous to hire an experienced Sales Manager/General Manager to lead the charge.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales teams across various territories.
- Manage pricing
- Monitor the financial performance of sales teams.
- Provide technical expertise to customers.
In this position you will be responsible to drive sales, provide a high level of service to our customers while continuing to grow the profitability of the business. Assist the store managers with meeting the stores sales and Gross Profit goals.
Industry Experience required.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure efficient and profitable operations.
- Plan and implement strategies for location growth by analyzing sales figures and forecasting future volume.
- Implement and follow effective and efficient procedures for daily operations consistent with company guidelines.
- Work closely with other company management
- Initiate changes to improve business and operational conditions
- Organize special promotions, displays and contractor events
Guarantee prompt, efficient customer service and profitable growth by:
- Work to ensure efficient operations of the counter staff so that all customers are treated fairly, professionally and timely.
- Develop and maintain relationships with major customers to ensure their continued satisfaction.
- Monitor all customer needs so that inventory is sufficient to meet those needs.
- Work closely with sales representatives to develop sales skills and increase add on sales.
- Assist the outside sales representatives in the development of new key accounts.
- Train inside and outside sales staff to provide world-class answers to customer questions and concerns.
- Investigate and find acceptable solutions to customer problems and ensure prompt resolution.
- Recruit, hire, and train to fill open positions.
- Maintain accurate and complete personnel records and supervise the correct reporting of time and work records to the payroll department.
- Monitor employee performance, coach, discipline and complete employee evaluations as required.
- Ensurie proper training for all staff in store operations, customer service, and safety.
- Schedule personnel for optimum customer service.
- Conduct regular store meetings
- JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Millwork and Building Material Experience is a must
- BS in Management, Business preferred but not required
- Two years of industry management experience.
- Ability to learn software packages.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Word, Sales Force and Excel.
- Products: Residential millwork, windows, doors. High level of special-order business and ability to read blueprints for accurate ordering
- Must be self-motivated, and enthusiastic about our business.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and attitude.
- Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be a team player and ability to get the team working together for common goals.
- Must be analytical and able to solve problems.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be ethical and honest.
- Must currently live in the company’s trading area.
- Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
