Senior Health Care Quality Analyst
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means delivering trusted performance data, leading quality improvement initiatives, and helping leaders identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. You will strengthen reporting systems, support evidence-based decision-making, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the Health Center.
The Role
- Lead andfacilitatehealthcare quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives using evidence-based improvement methodologies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical and operational leaders on healthcare quality measures, performance trends, regulatory requirements, improvement opportunities, and industry best practices.
- Partner with organizational leaders to evaluate performance, develop improvement strategies, and support achievement of quality, operational, and value-based careobjectives.
- Co-chair the Health Center Quality Management Committee and support ongoing quality governance activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, key performance indicators, and reporting tools that support organizational decision-making.
- Analyze clinical, operational, financial, and quality data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor organizational performance against quality benchmarks, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational goals.
- Lead or coordinate regulatory, accreditation, grant, quality, and operational reporting activities.
- Collaborate with Information Technology, clinical teams, operational leaders, and external partners to enhance reporting systems and performance measurement processes.
- Present data-driven findings, performance trends, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, committees, and other key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related fieldrequired; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare quality improvement, healthcare analytics, or healthcare administration, including experience leading quality initiatives and developing executive dashboards, data visualizations, and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Experience working within healthcare organizations, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), ambulatory care settings, managed care programs, or value-based care environments preferred.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Lean Six Sigma, Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), or similar quality improvement certification preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare quality improvement, performance measurement, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of HRSA, UDS, HEDIS, NCQA PCMH, accreditation standards, and healthcare regulatory reporting.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience translating complex clinical, operational, financial, and quality data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency developing executive dashboards, scorecards, and business intelligence reporting tools.
- Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence cross-functional improvement efforts.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, continuous improvement, and mission-driven service.
