Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Marketing Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will drive impactful marketing initiatives that raise awareness, engage communities, and support our mission to combat hunger. You will coordinate digital campaigns, manage content creation, and utilize a variety of marketing tools to maximize outreach and engagement across multiple platforms.
The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing & Engagement Manager in executing digital, print, and event-related communications to increase awareness of FARSB’s mission and programs. This role is responsible for producing marketing materials, managing digital content, supporting event promotions, and maintaining brand consistency across platforms. The Coordinator ensures timely, high-quality marketing execution that aligns with FARSB’s communications strategy.
Responsibilities
Digital & Print Communications (45%)
- Draft, design, and schedule content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
- Update and maintain the FARSB website with fresh content and visuals.
- Produce printed and digital collateral, including newsletters, brochures, direct mail pieces, annual reports, and event materials.
- Support email marketing campaigns through platforms such as Constant Contact (or similar).
- Track and compile analytics on social media, email, and website engagement.
Event & Campaign Support (30%)
- Create digital and print promotional materials for FARSB
- Manage guest communications and basic event collateral (flyers, invitations, programs, sponsorship packets).
- Under the direction of the Manager, provide on-site support for events, including photography, videography, and social media coverage.
- Assist with timelines, vendor coordination, and cross-team communication for event marketing.
Brand & Content Management (25%)
- Maintain FARSB’s brand guidelines across all external-facing materials.
- Under the direction of the Manager, archive photography, video, and stories from clients, volunteers, and partners for use in campaigns.
- Manage promotional product inventory, orders, and distribution.
- Provide training and support to community partners on branding and media requirements, as needed.
- Assist the Marketing & Engagement Manager with special projects and campaigns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, website management, or nonprofit communications.
- Proficiency with design and publishing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, Mailchimp).
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, DonorPerfect, GiveCloud) is a plus.
- Strong writing, editing, photography, and videography skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Knowledge of SEO and UX/UI preferred.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors/Organization Requirements
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk on the phone and computer.
- Indoor office/warehouse environment with moderate noise
- Conduct tours throughout FARSB’s 80,000 sq. ft. facility
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends for special events
- Able to drive throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties for meetings and events
