Position Summary
Felder Group USA is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Operations Assistant to support our Operations and Accounting departments. This position offers the opportunity to begin on a part-time basis and transition to full-time for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate is a fast learner with strong administrative, customer service, and accounting skills. Experience with QuickBooks is required. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Generate customer invoices and assist with billing activities
- Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with collections and customer account inquiries
- Support Accounts Payable (A/P) functions
- Prepare and review aging reports
- Monitor and maintain open order reports
- Assist with month-end reconciliation activities
- Maintain organized filing systems and accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Support general administrative and operational functions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in operations, accounting, administration, bookkeeping, or customer service
- Proficiency with QuickBooks required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
