Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Color Consultant/Estimator to join our vibrant design and renovation team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for clients seeking expert advice on color schemes, finishes, and interior aesthetics. Your expertise will guide clients through the selection process, providing innovative solutions that elevate their spaces. You will also be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing detailed proposals, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, vendors, and project teams. Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and project requirements through effective communication and active listening.
• Provide expert color consultation, including selecting paint palettes, finishes, lighting considerations, and interior design elements tailored to each client’s style and space.
• Prepare accurate estimates for renovation projects by assessing scope of work, materials needed, using CORE and a CRM
• Present product demonstrations and explain features of various finishes, fixtures, lighting options, and remodeling solutions to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Upsell additional services or products by identifying client needs for high-end sales opportunities while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure timely procurement of materials and adherence to project timelines.
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service, follow-up communication, and personalized recommendations that encourage repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the renovation, construction, or interior design industry.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), POS systems, CRM platforms, and merchandising tools.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements, estimates, and retail math calculations.
• Experience in construction sales or remodeling projects with a focus on high-end clientele is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly convey technical information and build rapport with clients.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy in documentation and follow-up.
• Technical proficiency in lighting design software or interior layout tools enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Pay: $59,418.22 - $71,557.43 per year
