The Role:
We are looking for a full-time skilled and self-driven Machine Operator to operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machine setup, tooling changes, quality inspection, and a solid understanding of engineering drawings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate CNC Machines, maintain machines, loading stock, managing fluids, and chip removal
• Perform setups & tooling changes to ensure continuous part conformance
• Operate CNC equipment such as mills, lathes, and; band saws as needed
• Read & interpret engineering drawings to produce quality parts to specification
• Inspect finished parts using metrology tools to ensure quality standards
• Complete production and quality documentation for all jobs
• Troubleshoot machine issues & assist other operators with technical challenges
• Help train team members on Swiss lathe operation and setup
• Collaborate effectively with team members across departments
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Self-motivated, problem-solver with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic math, English reading/writing, using computers and tech tools.

What it Takes:

• Horizontal Mill or Lathe Experience
• Wear PPE as required.
• Physically capable of bending, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to perform fine motor tasks.
• Able to hear and respond to sounds in a noisy environment.
• 1–2 years of experience operating & setting up Swiss lathe equipment is a plus
• CNC machines (Horizontal Mill, Vertical Mill, Dual Spindle Lathe) exp. is a plus
• Familiarity with G and M code programming is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under limited supervision
