Job: Office Clerk - Assistant
Hiring Pay Rate: Up to $21.00/hourly (Depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
Job Summary:
This individual will perform a wide variety of tasks associated with working in a manufacturing office such as providing information to callers, visitors and transport drivers while helping to maintain an organized front office. Additionally this individual will perform routine administrative functions for the Human Resources Manager such as drafting documents, scheduling interviews, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files. Some daily tasks are completed on the production floor such as, cycle counting therefore casual clothing is acceptable and practical for example, jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts.
The individual for this role should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with strong administrative and organizational skills and must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks, maintaining strict confidentiality.
The production work environment can be fast paced with frequent changes and adjusting timelines. Effective multi-tasking skills and adaptability are necessary to be successful in this position.
Prior experience in Human Resources is a plus but not required however the ability to learn and adhere to basic HR practices and principles will be required.
Some local travel is occasionally required therefore the individual is required to maintain a current driver’s license and automobile insurance.
The position occasionally requires the ability to work extra hours outside the normal shift for special projects or assignments.

- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
- Frequently requires standing, sitting and or walking for sustained periods of time.
- Occasionally requires lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to conduct tasks on the production floor.
- Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and or scaffolding.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Must be able to accurately file alphabetically and numerically.
- Must be able to perform work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to work independently with general direction, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Must have a strong commitment to completing tasks accurately and with integrity.
