Duties and Responsibilities
As a Route Driver with FreshDirect, you’ll play a key role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately — making a difference every day in the New York area.

· Operate Company Vehicles Safely: Drive a company vehicle responsibly, following all local, state, and federal driving regulations as well as company policies.

· Deliver Packages Efficiently and On Time : Load and unload packages with care, ensuring prompt and accurate deliveries to customers.

· Keep Vehicles Clean and Ready: Keep the delivery van clean, organized, and fueled to support uninterrupted operations.

· Drive-in All-Weather Conditions: Safely operate vehicles and complete routes in various weather conditions.

· Provide Exceptional Customer Service : Always represent FreshDirect with professionalism and a positive attitude. Deliver outstanding service, ensuring customer satisfaction even in demanding situations.

What We’re Looking For

• 2 years of recent commercial truck driving experience.
• Valid NY driver’s license (non-CDL). Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required.
• Safe driving record: = 3 points, = 1 accident, minimal suspensions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Flexible working weekends, holidays, mornings, or evenings.
• Comfortable using smartphones for GPS, routing & communication.
• Strong commitment to Safety, Reliability, and Customer Satisfaction .
