The Academic Advising Project Manager supports the Academic Advising Department by managing projects, analyzing data, and streamlining processes to enhance student success and departmental efficiency. This role blends strategic planning, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure optimal workflow and service delivery. The Project Manager will serve as a liaison between advising teams, leadership, and technical departments to identify and implement creative solutions to operational challenges.This position is located on campus at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL and reports to the Director of Academic Training and Operations.
- Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and alignment with departmental goals.
- Generate, analyze, and disseminate reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) to support decision-making and performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain workflow reporting and pacing tools.
- Partner with IMT and advising leadership to identify operational needs and implement system improvements.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to support comprehensive advising services.
- Coordinate departmental quality assurance standards and processes.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Track performance measures to assess employee success and service quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of assessment plans and learning outcomes.
- Provide coaching, evaluations, and performance feedback to increase team efficiency.
- Analyze student data to identify triggers for proactive outreach and support.
- Create and review report data to inform quality assurance and student service enhancements.
- Advocate for technology needs and system integration improvements.
- Collaborate with team leaders and training managers to identify training opportunities based on data insights.
- Participate in leadership and university-wide meetings, committees, and events.
- Provide coverage for other project management roles as needed (Junior PM, Senior PM, Operations Manager).
- Support coordination of advising-related events (e.g., academic success fairs, workshops, orientation).
- Maintain relationships with external departments to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
- Adhere to university policies and maintain confidentiality of personnel and student information.
- Assist with workflow management efforts to ensure departmental tasks are prioritized in accordance with leadership guidance.
- Audit advising team case queues to ensure accuracy and timeliness of team responses.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Full Sail University’s mission and values.
- Adhere to Full Sail University’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of students and institutional information.
- Comply with company attendance standards.

Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alphanumeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. (May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.)
