- Partner with General Managers and Business Office Managers to strengthen financial performance across all dealership operations.
- Analyze key performance indicators, including gross profit, net profit, fixed absorption, inventory turns, cash flow, expense management, and productivity.
- Drive operational consistency through process improvement, financial discipline, and best practices.
- Design, enhance, and implement scalable financial processes and procedures that improve organizational performance.
- Provide executive oversight of accounting operations, internal controls, financial reporting, and OEM reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal and state regulations, OEM requirements, lender agreements, and internal policies.
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, ethical leadership, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, external auditors, and strategic partners.
- Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships, floorplan financing, liquidity, and working capital.
- Evaluate financing opportunities and capital investments that support long-term organizational growth.
- Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions and strategic expansion opportunities.
- Champion technology, financial systems, and business intelligence that improve reporting and executive decision-making.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance organization.
- Foster a culture grounded in integrity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop future financial leaders through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning.
- Inspire teams to embrace innovation while supporting the organization's long-term vision.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive executive financial leadership experience.
- Experience leading finance within a complex, multi-location organization.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, treasury management, internal controls, and corporate compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- Multi-franchise automotive dealership experience.
- Experience with dealership acquisitions and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of CDK, OEM reporting requirements, and floorplan financing.
