Job Summary: Under limited supervision, the full-time Sales Manager position is primarily responsible for leading the sales team and overseeing the daily operations of the sales department. sales to public and private agencies in the corrections industry. The primary duties include hiring and training sales staff, managing quotas, creating sales campaigns, and reporting to upper management.
THIS IS CURRENTLY A HYBRID POSITION. CANDIDATE MUST WILLING TO WORK AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN PALM HARBOR, FL. MINIMUM OF 2 DAYS A WEEK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns
- Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
- Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally, regionally, and internationally
- Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures
- Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
- Setting discount rates and determining price schedules
- Developing and Modifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners
- Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
- Setting sales quotas and goals
- Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team
- Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
- Defining and executing territory sales plans
- Delivering presentations and product demonstrations via the web links or face-to-face meetings
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of our technically complex products and explaining the nuanced differences between products
- Writing effective proposals and quotes
- Attending conferences and other networking events to promote Geographic Solutions and its products
- Implementing and maintaining best practices for managing the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- Minimum of two years in sales managing position with proven sales results in related industries
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable about the unemployment insurance, workforce, career service, social services, and corrections industry and/or experience working in public job placement/career development fields and confident working with professionals at all levels and areas of discipline is desired
- Experience with HubSpot Sales Hub Enterprise desired. Ideal candidate will be familiar with how the Sales Hub interacts with the Marketing Hub
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Sound presentation skills are a must
- Experience of delivering product demonstrations and presentations in a professional environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying client needs, developing solutions, and logically organizing complex information
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and follow-up abilities
- Strong relationship-building ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Attention to detail and organization
Special Requirements:
- Ability to travel to client sites and conferences
