This is a high-impact role for a hands-on HR leader who combines strong judgment, operational excellence, and a passion for delivering a great employee experience. You’ll lead the People Services team, partner closely with leaders across the business, and help scale processes, systems, and programs as the company evolves.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and no two days look the same, this role is for you.
Your key contributions in this role will be:
Lead, coach, and develop the People Services team, setting clear priorities, expectations, and accountability.
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders on employee relations, driving consistent, thoughtful, and compliant outcomes.
Own and support HR operations, including policies, processes, and day-to-day employee lifecycle activities.
Play a key role in HRIS implementation and optimization (including Workday or similar), ensuring data accuracy, training, and adoption.
Evaluate and improve People processes to increase scalability, efficiency, and employee experience.
Support compensation-related work, including job structure, data organization, and future compensation cycles.
Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, and business leaders to ensure alignment and compliance across U.S. and Canadian operations.
Leverage data, reporting, and technology (including AI tools) to inform decisions and improve service delivery.
Oversee the People Success ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution, workload balance, and continuous improvement.
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:
Proven experience managing people in an HR, People Operations, or People Services environment.
Strong employee relations expertise with the ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels.
Hands-on experience with HR operations, systems, and core people processes.
Experience supporting multi-state organizations; exposure to international (Canada) operations is a plus.
Experience leading or supporting HRIS implementations or major operational changes.
Exposure to compensation processes (analysis or cycles) with a willingness to grow in this area.
Comfort working with data, systems, and emerging technologies.
A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to bring structure in evolving environments.
Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration—knowing when to lead and when to escalate.
Enthusiasm for growth, change, and building scalable processes.
Resilience and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Curiosity to understand existing processes and improve them thoughtfully.
