This position follows established procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment while developing knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter and process customer sales orders accurately and timely.
- Create and maintain purchase orders in accordance with company purchasing procedures.
- Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within the company's ERP system.
- Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy.
- Complete routine inventory transfers between locations, departments, or inventory bins.
- Research and process inventory adjustments as necessary to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving inventory-related issues.
- Maintain organized procurement and inventory documentation.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Sales, and Warehouse teams to support business needs. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- 1-2 years of prior experience in inventory control, purchasing, order entry, data entry, or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP systems and the ability to quickly learn new software; Acumatica experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with inventory management and procurement processes. Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Regularly performs duties that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting of up to 60 pounds. Ability to perform periodic inventory counts within warehouse or inventory storage areas
Pay
$20.50 -$23.00 depending on experience.
