COMPENSATION RANGE
Pay Range: $23.00 / hourly
Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with required rest and meal breaks. Full time, non-exempt.
JOB SUMMARY
Since 1970, Great Floors has grown into a thriving organization with retail, commercial, and builder showrooms positioned across the Pacific Northwest. Great Floors is a subsidiary of Artisan Design Group. Artisan Design Group (ADG). Great Floors is seeking a Delivery Driver to support our Coeur d’Alene, Idaho location. The basic function of the Truck Driver is to move material safely and accurately between vendors and warehouses. This includes checking, labeling and securing material, keeping track of paperwork and assisting with loading and unloading.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily pre-trip inspections and reporting of any equipment issues
Safely and legally transport material between vendors and warehouses
Pick up materials from our vendors, check the material and paperwork to ensure correct material is picked up, label everything with the store, customer name and order number.
Secure cargo to prevent damage
Deliver materials to the Kent Distribution Center or our stores as instructed
Communicate with vendors, other drivers, warehouse staff and management
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience
Clean driving record
Comply with state, federal, and company safety regulations
Reliable attendance and performance
Self-Starter; Independent
Excellent Organizational Skills and Time Management Skills
Master the standard paperwork procedures
Understand truck schedules and routes
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of prior experience
Industry knowledge

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:
Ability to drive for long periods throughout the day.
Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between job sites; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basis; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of product.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
Warehouse/Facility: May be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments (heat and cold), moving mechanical parts, vibration, and elevated noise levels.
Job Site/Field: Exposure to active construction sites, outdoor weather conditions, dust, and fumes. Requires use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
Travel: Requires travel to local vendors/warehouses.
