Miles River Middle School is looking for an experienced and responsible individual who exhibits strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, excellent judgment and flexibility. Under the supervision of the Assistant Principal, the individual performs the following administrative functions in a professional and positive manner to ensure the efficient operations of the school and front office: Greet and provide assistance to parents and visitors Answer office phones and field inquiries Manage daily and class attendance reportingProvide daily support to school personnel Maintain student filesOrder supplies for the school Generate all opening of school forms for students and staff Assist in maintaining an organized office environmentOther duties as assigned Overall, we are seeking a candidate who is flexible, enjoys student and parent interactions, and is comfortable working in an interactive team setting.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma required, college degree preferred.Experience in an office (required) or educational setting (preferred).Knowledge of computer applications and accurate typing/keyboarding skills required.Strong organizational skills required.Ability to work independently, pay close attention to detail, and display initiative.
