What You Will Be Doing:
- When interacting with guests make them feel comfortable by establishing a personal connection.
- Communicate promptly, courteously, and effectively with all guests, management, and fellow team members. Communicate with management consistently, specifically as it pertains to facility repairs and safety.
- Be knowledgeable about the BackLot brand and items sold to be able to answer questions.
- Be knowledgeable of the arcade systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the parts room, for ease of service.
- Patrol the game floor and perform most repairs to games as issues arise.
- Clean and sanitize games as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair arcade, bowling, lighting, A/V, and POS equipment.
- Work on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintain parts inventory and order repair parts as needed.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Able to prioritize and work on multiple projects and tasks with frequent interruptions while maintaining flexibility and composure.
- Partner with our ITTS and CFM teams to ensure larger projects are completed in a timely fashion.
- Required to be at least 18 years of age.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, loud environment, with multiple flashing lights, while in a standing position for extended periods of time.
- Capable of remaining calm and using good judgment in all situations.
- A professional image with an increased attention to detail, well organized and a desire to serve guests and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Basic working knowledge of hand tools and able to utilize them to perform tasks.
- Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to exercise judgment.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and safety guidelines.
- Ability and willingness to learn and utilize multiple systems that support business functions.
