We're looking for a Motorcycle Sales Associate ready to turn that passion into a career, guiding riders from their first test ride to the moment they roll off our lot on the Harley-Davidson that's meant for them.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Create long-term relationships with customers and have fun talking about motorcycles.
Attain new and used sales goals as agreed upon with the sales manager.
Present the features and benefits of motorcycle products to customers, showing the unique advantages.
Follow business transaction processes timely and accurately.
Introduce new customers to the other departments and their personnel.
Welcome all customers to the dealership and take ownership of providing a positive experience.
Cultivate prospects (e.g., showroom customer follow-up, phone-in inquiries, past owners, etc.).
Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously.
Use a common and consistent sales process for vehicle sales, trade-ins, and purchases.
Contact customers using personal follow-up to encourage additional sales and ensure customer satisfaction, and ask for referrals.
Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to “Make Things Right”.
Attend training sessions to keep current with sales techniques and sales department issues.
Qualifications
Proven experience in face-to-face customer sales (B2C).
Strong understanding of Harley-Davidson products, features, and brand values, or the ability to quickly learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficiency in using CRM software and/or other sales tools.
Valid motorcycle endorsement with a clean driving record.
