Nurse Manager
Lead with purpose, care with heart, and make an impact where it matters most. Haxtun Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to guide staff and help deliver outstanding care to our patients and residents every day.
- Starting Pay Range: $93,600/yr – $121,680/yr , depending on experience
- Position Status: Full-time, exempt

Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational oversight. This position supports the delivery of safe, compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, staff development, and efficient department operations.
The Nurse Manager provides leadership and support to nursing staff and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), develops and maintains staffing schedules, supports patient care coordination, and may provide direct patient care as needed.
The Nurse Manager participates in the nursing administration on-call rotation and may provide leadership support, clinical consultation, and direct patient care.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership, charge nurse, supervisory, or staff coordination experience.
- Current or ability to obtain within established timeframes:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in extended care, acute care, emergency nursing, or nursing leadership.

- Retirement Plan: Up to a 3% employer match, which increases with your length of service. New employees are automatically enrolled at a 1% contribution rate (can be opted out). Employees must complete 5 years of employment to be 100% vested.
- Employee Health Payment Match: Haxtun Health matches employee payments up to $1,000 per year per family for services received at Haxtun Health’s hospital or clinics.
- Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI): Haxtun Health participates in the CO FAMLI program, which is a social insurance program that provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for qualifying life events.
- Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
- Other Benefits Include: Employee Assistance Program, Employee Purchasing Program, MASA Medical Transport Services (Air & Ambulance Supplemental), College Invest (529 College Savings Plan), accidental death & dismemberment, long-term disability, and supplemental plans (accident, critical illness, hospitalization).
