The Domain Consultant at HCL is responsible for providing expertise in business analysis and agile methodology to support the company's clients in various sectors. Key Responsibilities
Agile Coach – HF Sinclair (Client-Facing JD) Position Title Enterprise Agile Coach Location Hybrid / Remote (Support HF Sinclair Business & Technology Organizations) Role Overview HF Sinclair is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to lead Agile transformation initiatives, improve delivery effectiveness, and drive adoption of Lean-Agile practices across application support, ERP, data analytics, integration, and digital transformation programs. The Agile Coach will partner with business stakeholders, product teams, delivery managers, and leadership to establish a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, predictability, and value-driven delivery. This role aligns with HF Sinclair's focus on operational excellence, innovation, process maturity, and business transformation. Key Responsibilities Agile Transformation & Organizational Coaching Lead Agile transformation initiatives across Refining, Midstream, Commercial, Corporate, and Data Analytics organizations. Coach executives, product owners, delivery managers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams on Agile principles and practices. Establish Agile operating models, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement strategies. Assess Agile maturity and develop transformation roadmaps to improve organizational effectiveness. Team Coaching & Delivery Excellence Build high-performing, self-organizing Agile teams. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, and Release Planning. Mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners in backlog management, prioritization, estimation, and stakeholder communication. Remove organizational impediments impacting team performance and delivery predictability. Agile Governance & Metrics Define and monitor Agile KPIs and delivery metrics, including: Velocity Sprint Predictability Lead Time Cycle Time Throughput Team Health Indicators Value Delivered Drive data-driven decision making and continuous improvement initiatives. Establish portfolio and program-level visibility through Agile dashboards and reporting. Process Improvement & Innovation Facilitate value stream mapping and process optimization workshops. Drive adoption of Agile, Lean, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery practices. Promote innovation programs, ideathons, and experimentation frameworks. Enable teams to improve collaboration, quality, and business value realization. Stakeholder & Change Management Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams. Support organizational change initiatives related to digital transformation and modernization. Foster alignment between business objectives and technology
Skill Requirements
1. Strong proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools.
2. In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies such as scrum or kanban.
3. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
6. Certified business analysis professional (cbap) certification is a plus.
7. Certified scrummaster (csm) or scrum product owner certification is preferred.
Other Requirements
Experience
10+ years of IT and business transformation experience.
5+ years as Agile Coach, Enterprise Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or Agile Transformation Consultant.
Proven experience coaching large-scale enterprise programs.
Experience working within complex application, ERP, integration, analytics, and digital ecosystems.
